This database was created to be a voice to all dog agility participants, human and canine. As the sport of dog agility develops, the rate at which injuries occur to our canine counterparts remains relatively unknown. Veterinary specialists have been able to correlate common agility injuries within our sport. However, as the sport grows, incidents and injuries will likely continue to be a part of that growth. In an effort to advocate for safety, this database was inspired.
Our goal is to be able to provide physical data to agility organizations around the world while keeping our priority at the base of our sport, the wellbeing of the canine athlete.
In sports, incidents and injuries happen. Even the best-prepared individual can suffer from an unexpected injury. However, if documented, our mission is to be able to collect and report data that can later be used to help make our sport safer for the canine athlete.
